Raheen Woods Hotel Wedding
The weddings that I enjoy most are ones where the brides and grooms enjoy themselves the most! Couples that let the hand brake off and simply live out their life event in as much positivity as they can…and that’s why Stacey and Eoin were a treat to be with.
Fair play to Stacey and Eoin who called to the studio twice before their wedding day…this meant we weren’t strangers on their big day, and indeed we had a plan where we were all singing from the same hymn sheet so to speak! The odd time I receive phone calls from a couple who let me know that they’re not massively into photos and to keep it to a minimum on wedding day…..so for this very reason I was extremely grateful with the efforts of Stacey & Eoin.
Wedding Morning in the Raheen Woods Hotel
Stacey’s preparations took place in the Raheen Woods Hotel in Athenry (also her wedding venue) and she had superb company on wedding morning from the two “happy out” bridesmaids Aisling & Helen….it makes the world of a difference to any bride and groom when they have close friends who are good people with them on their big day! The were ably looked after on wedding day with the superb Fiona Coyne looking after make up duties and the excellent Natalie O’Brien looking after hair! We had great chats/banter on wedding morning, and Stacey was as chilled with everyone and indeed simply good company all round!
Church of the Assumption & St James Claregalway
I hooked up with Eoin and his groomsmen Donnacha and John at the church in Claregalway! Very approachable guys too…..and the fact that “the force” is with Eoin (…. Star Wars Fan) we were pretty comfortable in each others company!
The ceremony was a 1.30pm start and fair play to Stacey for being so punctual!
We availed of the Old Abbey in Claregalway for our photo shoot…plenty of craic, banter, hydration and indeed nutrition for the 20 odd minutes that we were there! We were ready for our final port of call, the Raheen Woods Hotel. Stacey’s wedding dress took on a new look back at the hotel…she looked amazing and that wonderful frame of mind that she was in definitely showed in her images!
When I was finishing up that evening and saying my goodbyes, I received a lovely big hug from Stacey…a lovely genuine way to finish up a days work!
Thanks so much for trusting me with your wedding photos guys….ye’re two good people and I thoroughly enjoyed your company on wedding day! Please God we’ll cross paths again in the near future!
